I grew up in a Mormon family, I never participated in the church myself, but everything I knew about church had to do with the Mormon church. Ive been dating this girl for a while now, she is Seventh Day Adventist, and just recently she told me that her mom would love if I offered to say a prayer before we eat dinner this coming weekend.
How do Seventh Day Adventist pray? If you could just give me like a sample prayer that you would do before eating dinner, that would be awesome. In the mormon church, prayer is always started by addressing God as "Heavenly Father", after which you give thanks for whatever you feel neccessary, then ask for blessings on yourself and others, afterwhich prayer is always ended with "in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
